Emotional Wellness

Emotional Wellness

What is Emotional Wellness?

Inspires self-care, relaxation, stress reduction and the development of inner strength. It also includes the ability to successfully handle life’s stresses, adapt to change, and difficult times. As a County employee you have resources available to help build and enhance your emotional wellness.

Employee Assistance Program

Welcome to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) page for the Virtual Health and Wealth Fair!

The EAP is a free counseling service for County Employees and their dependent family members. We have licensed mental health professionals who can provide individual, couple’s, and family counseling sessions. Additionally, we can lead trainings in a variety of topics, including stress management, professional communication, and we respond to critical incidents. EAP is also collaborating with Library Services to provide a curated list of books which we often recommend to clients. Please see the attached hand-outs on stress management, library services, weekly meditation, and more!

For more information about EAP and an archive of original meditation videos, see our website: https://hr.ventura.org/benefits/employee-assistance-program
