- Developing and administering the County’s classification system and pay plan
- Conducting compensation studies to determine and maintain the County’s market competitiveness
- Maintaining internal pay equity among County classifications
- Conducting classification studies to ensure that County positions are properly classified
- Providing classification/compensation/organizational consultation to managers and employees
- Establishing new classifications and deleting obsolete classifications
